--------
In this clip, The D.O.C. talked about his friendship with Suge Knight and shared that the infamous figure always had his back and supported him. He pointed out the similarities that fame had on Suge and Eazy-E. The D.O.C. also drew parallels to NWA's experience. When massive amounts of money were on the line, the group's owners wanted to make sure that it was theirs. Unfortunately, this fractured the foundation before it could grow and succeed in its own right. The D.O.C. believes that the same situation occurred at Death Row.

Damn it hurts me to see what happened to doc...he made what is arguably one of the greatest hip hop albums ever produced. Way ahead of his time

D.O.C and Dr. Dre Haven't and never will acknowledge that Eazy E was the owner. The Boss will always make more money than the employees but Dr. Dre wanted his own record label, if Eazy E was alive he would have been the first hip hop billionaire and not Dr. Dre. Ice Cube wanted the same but now he at least acknowledged that he was wrong and understands how the business works. "I was the captain, Dre was my sidekick, it was all cool till he wanted to get what I get" -Eazy E

Humble and introspective man, with self-awareness who learned from his mistakes. Had the east coast paying attention when his first album dropped in 1989. Every rapper on a 1989 Capitol records European tour was playing his album at the airport and on the plane leaving JFK in New York for London. So was I...should get more credit for his contributions to hip hop and music in general. Like another commenter said...he was, and is the truth.

What a balanced introspective. He didn't lean left or right and his assessment is on point with my thoughts.

I remember back in the day Chris Rock was in Rolling Stone Magazine. He said the day after the Funky Enough video aired on Yo MTV Raps, everybody in Brooklyn had on Raiders gear.

This is one of the most important videos on why many groups, organizations, teams, businesses, governments, or any type of organization fail.

My father was at the centre of all these happenings in Compton. He still holds the view that Suge is the biggest disappointment in hip-hop. He had everything in his palm. But he refused to transition from being a street gangster into a corporate gangster.

It’s awesome what Dre and cube have accomplished and good on them, But it was Eazy’s money that funded the group what did they expect? Eazy made more money because it was his company and he backed it financially
