Klein Plier Wrench D53010SEN | REVERSIBLE JAW | better than Knipex? Comparison

preview_player
Показать описание
The Klein Plier Wrench D53010 is a 10" water pump style plier with a reversible lower jaw allowing for two parallel smooth jaws, or one smooth and one angled tooth-filled lower jaw. It is more the same than different compared to the Knipex Plier Wrench and Cobra. The Klein is heavier than the comparable sized Plier Wrench by NI-PEX 🤣

Thos is just a comparison between the 2 wrenchs no demonstrations really, take from it what youd like 👍🏻

It an interesting one… I keep telling myself I don’t think I need it, but it may accidentally find its way into my bag.

I have owned knipex smooth jaw and the water pump style for 4 years and they are by far superior to any other water pump/channel lock style pliers.

I got a pair. Replaced my adjustable and channel locks so saved a lil weight in bag

Sweet! I didn’t know Klein made these. I will have to pick a pair up and give them a try.

I have the Knipex pliers wrenches in a 7 and 10 inch what I love about the pliers wrenches in general is your not marking up whatever you’re using it on where with the regular pliers with the teeth you’re marking up what you’re using them on now obviously there’s a place for both but something more delicate I like using the pliers wrench instead.

This will be cool to have in a bag as the holding wrench with the 250mm cobras and pliers wrench.

I like the button location on the Klein, i have a feeling they are going to end up in a few different places

As much as I love tools and trying the latest stuff, I find myself grabbing the pipe wrenches about 70% of the time lol always bites and it's the best for turning big valves that are stuck or too hot to touch. That was not always the case though until I found aluminum pipe wrenches, those things are light as feathers.

I got one of these and the teeth started to be destroyed when trying to actuate a valve. I'll buy another pair to see if my teeth were poorly hardened or if they are just crap.

I notice them in the Kline tool bin at home depot. Going back to take another look.

I have a reversable crescent that has teeth on one side for pipe. They work as good or better than channel locks and they are light. That is the only problem I saw with your new wrench. My tool pouch is as light as possible and those look heavy. Still look like good tool to keep in the truck but let's face it, if it ain't in the pouch it doesn't get used much.

チャンネルロックとバーコの良いとこ取りみたいで良いですね❗

しかし日本では価格が2倍~3倍なので円高$安まで待ちます

Thanks, another review said they liked the icon grips better but for me I immediately know what you mean by stupid day comfort grips. I hate fat grips. Anybody that works on cars knows that any extra width just gets in the way of getting the job done and it does not improve comfort really it just improves slop and decreases Force if of getting the job done and it does not improve comfort really anyway if the handle is shaped right which knipex so far in my experience has great shaped slim handles. Thanks for pointing that out

the lever is an improvement over the kworshipped brand, but that flip-over drop-out jaw I don't need. Just use a pump wrench in stead.

Not seeing a need or want for the dual jaw but ok
Klein is selling made by knipex tools now
I know locally knipex is hard to find in store you have to order online sometimes but Klein is on the shelf so more venues to buy locally from. And wish I broke more tools than I lost or misplaced but it’s nice to have an on the shelf option

Cool concept but you’re screwed if you drop and lose that Jaw piece. Just carry both pliers. Knipex makes great stuff. Also…I don’t want to fiddle with flipping a jaw piece around. I’ll just grab my Kobras if I need them on my tool belt. Also…having both smooth jaw and kobras is nice for nuts and bolts. Might as well just have both.

Going to use this for an emergency truck kit, not worth putting on my van though.
