I think the problem with his swinging scenes is that they are all multiple shots and cuts and never shows a whole shot of him swinging like the raimi and tasm movies did.

That was my biggest pet peeve in Toms trilogy. Watts does not know how to make good web swinging scenes. There’s barely any which blows my mind since their literally SPIDER-MAN movies. I hope in Toms next trilogy we get web swinging scenes like we did in The Amazing Spider-Man. Those scenes were goat tier and truly represented an iconic staple of the character.

The homecoming suit is so pretty compared to the andrew and tpbey ones. It just has this essence of grace.

While the swinging scenes in this movie might not be as triumphant or expressive as ones in the Rami trilogy or The Amazing Spider-Man movies, I do think that this movie does a good job at showing how realistically Spider-Man would casually swing through neighborhoods and thwip up bad guys

everybody forgets that this spidey is not supposed to be the copy of the past versions of the character. this peter is about 15-16 years old, that IS indeed how a teenager would act in the superheroic world. it feels so comfortable and relyable for me, i think that is how I would have acted if i was the superhero 3 years ago. hes not experienced, he brakes the stuff around him, he falls, he fails in his tricks and all. yeah, he got his tech costume from a different hero, but he uses it incredibly well and smart, like the ps4 spider (and the ps4 somehow didnt get SO much hate). you can literally imagine a ps4 costume on him in the boat scene and it will feel like it was supposed to be there. in 10 years people will understand how criminally underrated this version of spider-man was, glad i love him now and here, i love every version of live-action spider man
