Carole King surprised the entire cast of Beautiful on Broadway July 27, 2018. She came to see Melissa Benoist, CW's Supergirl, who is brilliant in the show.

I had tickets that night and Melissa was fantastic. What a great musical and depiction of Carole King's musical/life history. LOVED IT. To have Carole King show up and entertain us with one more song was a super treat. Honestly didn't know much about Carole King. So now I appreciate the words that are behind her songs even more. The cast was awesome too!

Broadway is lucky to have Melissa Benoist performing if only briefly this summer. She was so talented on Glee and it showed there - now it shows here as she more than holds her own on Broadway. Thanks for recording! Too bad she cannot sing much in her acting job on Supergirl.
