"The Deep" truly awakened by love for horror. "The Troop" made me feel sick, but "The Deep" was one of the best book I've ever read.

You inspire me to try so many things. Books, puzzles, movies, fashion. You TRULY re-sparked my love for horror and I watch every video you come out with. Your work is so appreciated ✨❤️

I recently read A Head Full of Ghosts and was BLOWN AWAY. I was honestly shocked by how much I loved it. I genuinely sobbed while reading the second to last chapter, and will think about it for a long time. One of my all times for sure ❤

I really appreciate the comments on how some male authors write women, that's a big no for me so thank u!
I read home before dark and house at the end.. because of your videos and i loved both.

Completely agree about how Riley Sager writes women. Grady's Final Girls Support Group, on the other hand, was a really fun read.

The Nothing Man, is amazing. A serial killers one surviving victim grows up to write a book about him and he reads the book and discovers how close she's getting to catching him. Amazing switches of POV and timelines

My husband guessed the twist in The Last House on Needless Street just from me telling him about the book as I was reading it. To say I was shocked is an understatement. lol. It's my favorite book I've read this year though !

I love when you do your horror book content! Also, I'm so glad you feel the same way I do about Riley Sager. Everyone is on the Riley train, and I just can't seem to get on it... also A Head Full of Ghosts is one of my favorites by far

You introduced me to Paul Tremblay and I can't thank you enough!! Head Full of Ghosts is one of the most effective and incredible books I have ever read. I even bought a copy for my sister for Christmas!

yay for more book content!! im so glad there's love for Horrorstor. it's my favourite grady hendrix book but typically isn't for a lot of other people lol. i have sooo much to read on my tbr too it's frustrating haha. and it was interesting the way you categorised each tier! you might enjoy Dear Laura by Gemma Amor (i haven't read Penpal but the way you talked about it sounded a bit similar)

Two interesting books I read recently are Nothing But Blackened Teeth by Cassandra Khaw and The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley. Both fun reads for very different reasons with the first being more of traditional horror/haunted house story with Japanese mythology and the second is a mystery thriller whodunnit. Great ranking by the way! Gave me a ton to add to the reading list.

Also, I’ve been chasing the high that Home Before Dark gave me and have read every other Riley Sager book because of it. It never came.

OH MY GOD YASSSS. I literally screamed "slay queen" as soon as I saw this get posted. I have been reading SO much this year, and have been dying for more book content, especially horror, as 21/36 reads for me this year have been horror. Thanks so much Sarah!
