4K Ultra HD Pass-Through

Not sure the 4k pass through even works. Passing the Xbox series X to the TV, the Xbox does not recognize 4k being an option nor does it allow to be selected

How to enable 4K passthrough? I have PS4 Pro and TV 4K and 1080p only. :-(

Hi there.I have a Pioneer SC-85, although capable of 4K pass through, it wont work or work intermittently/flickering ... when I bypass the receiver and I connect the Intel Nuc i5 to my 4k TV it works in 4096/4k without any issues, so that tells me that something is wrong with the receiver. According with Pioneer's manual to enable 4k pass through you must hold ENTER button from the panel while pressing POWER button then you have 2 options 4K 4:4:4 or 4k 4:2:0, then you have to press RETURN .... I did this 100 times and nothing help would be appreciate it.

I'm looking for a definitive answer. I have a Yamaha RX-V375 reciever. I have a 4k tv. The receiver has 4k pass through. Will there be any degrade in picture quality? pls help.

Does anyone know if the Pioneer VSX 321 supports 4K pass through?
I can’t find any data sheet telling me what the HDMI ports allow.

Remember you will need a suitable hdmi cable that also supports 4k

OK I did what you told me but sorry no 4k comes out on the nvidia shield I think this was a gimmick from pioneer. I think I'm going to write one big letters to the company if that don't work well I will be going higher.

OK I have on ? I just got the Nvidia shield 4K when I connect it I got only 1080p play back but when I play it on 4K TV it plays in 4K what my doing wrong here
