for me, there's no pain, but a tightness or stiffness that the cracking of the spine helps relieve.

Blame those hard ass flat chairs students have to sit 6+ hours a day in

I’ve always said this. Going to the gym isn’t just for people want to look good. It’s also beneficial for keeping your body strong. After my car accident I had a nasty neck injury. Every doctor told me to not touch the gym again. My chiropractor is the only one to say “keep doing shrugs to strengthen my neck.”

If you have lower back pains I suggest even in men to workout your glutes. People forget that their glutes are what literally separate and hold your lower and upper body together. Don’t feel embarrassed being a guy and doing a glutes machine at the gym! It’s supper helpful.

It’s the sitting but also it’s possibly people’s mattresses. We need proper support to keep our spine aligned. Thanks for this tho because I be cracking my back a lot. ❤

I don't pop my back for relief. I pop it because it feels good and makes a satisfying noise.

Edit: To quote an earlier comment from myself, and to answer the future pedants, "I don't pop my back to get relief *from back pain."* Contextualize a little, and have a good day.

I work in healthcare and very few professionals ever talk about stability and mobility as being treatment goals for chronic pain. The old school approach of find it fix it doesnt solve most chronic pain issues because that method typically only address one cause of the pain. A complimentary approach where you address multiple things together like what this channel always preaches is the correct answer. Love this channel, we need more of this in america. If you have back pain seek multiple opinions and options please before considering fusion. Once you have your back fuzed your stuck and most of the time it does absolutely NOTHING to help!!! It can often make things worse. It's an old outdated misinformed approach typically.

the guy in the first video forgot to give aggresive eye contact, the guys who cracks their back during class always gives you the most raw eye contact possible.

There's a specific crack only those school chairs can do. Place your palm face down on the chair and lay your back as far as possible. That crack is better than the street crack

I've had first hand experience with this, the stronger I've got the less I need to stretch my back. I've always thought it was due to the fact that the muscles aren't having to work at a high percentage just to keep me vertical and are now more relaxed in day to day life

you are the only honest chiropractor i've run across to in my life - SO FAR of the videos I've watched. Never has even 1 ever said its due to instability. Some said, ruptured discs, some said, bad posture, some said, out of alignment. Never had one say, JUST GET TO THE GYM AND FRIGGING EXERCISE TO BUILD YOUR CORE. One chiropractor even sent me to a spinal surgeon! spine surgeon said (then) as a 40 y old man, spine looks admirable, others out on the street look worse. so it was about 1000 adjustments later that I realized I NEEDED TO WORK OUT. My wife had cracked my neck literally about 5x per day, and back, as well. even walking on it on tippy-toes. cause you only get so many adjustments before insurance runs out - so she learnt from youtube tutorials. Anyways, ive been to the gym for the past 3 months and work out HARD - and I need to be cracked maybe 3x a day, if that. Instead, I normally feel the need to crack every 30 minutes!
