The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is More RAM than Wrangler | MotorWeek First Drive

The world has been waiting for another Jeep pickup since the Comanche, now we have it in the form of the Gladiator. Although it sits on an extended Wrangler frame and looks almost identical, the Gladiator is more RAM than Wrangler.

I'm old-school and own a CJ-7, XJ and Grand Wagoneer. Around here there are many JL/JK's as well as half-ton pickups with empty beds, this is a combination of both.

This thing looks awesome and I love the fact you can get a pickup with a removable roof and doors! So great and the colors, variety of models and engines will make this a winner. I have a 2019 RAM1500 4x4 already which I love, but in this mid size segment there isn't a better all around vehicle in my opinion. The haters gonna hate, as you see in the comments from those less informed life forms listed below

Looks like they should have resurrected the "Scrambler" name, as that is more what it looks like. It doesn't have any styling cues to the J-series trucks from Kaiser-AMC years. Also this video was less than 1 minute of actual content. I don't know why I am subscribed.

Wow what marketing hype. I learned my lesson many years ago in the back country when I reached the end of a trail in my tricked out TJ. I was so proud of myself only to find 4 beer drinking old ladies (I say that with respect) sitting there in a bone stock Dodge Caravan having a good time. LOL I did get a free beer however!!!

I like how they were too lazy to redesign the rear doors from the Wrangler so they have a stupid angle at the rear for no reason.

Aaaahahahaha! "Most capable midsize truck ever".... Ahahaha, ok then. It is very heavy, on the Ram frame. Basically is is a poor attempt to cross back over into the truck world for Jeep. Just buy a Ram.
