Good day to you, Another way to solve your indeterminate limit is as follows: Given lim(x-->9)((9 - x)/(3 - SQRT(x)) [ Consider the numerator (9 - x) as a difference of two squares and factor as follows: 9 - x = (3 - SQRT(x))(3 + SQRT(x)) ]. Finally cancell the common factor (3 - SQRT(x)) of numerator and denominator to obtain the solvable limit form: lim(x-->9)(1/(3 + SQRT(x))) = 1/(3 + 3) = 1/6 ... now we have 3 different ways to solve the same limit; I find this pretty neat!
