Tips For Growing Peas In The Fall // Increase Seed Germination Rates

Показать описание
Peas are a delicious spring and fall crop that are easy to grow once you know the basics. Peas like to germinate in cool temperatures. Growing peas in the spring is simple because peas are frost tolerant and will germinate easily in early spring. Growing peas in the fall is more challenging. The problem is the best time to plant peas is in late summer when days and nights are still too warm for good germination rates. For this reason, I start my peas for the fall in containers so I can get them into the ground early during late summer so there is still enough heat left in the year to harvest a successful crop. This video discusses tips and tricks for planting fall peas so you can have a successful harvest.
