Brownies don’t have baking powder or soda because they are supposed to be quite dense instead of airy. Putting baking powder in it will make it into a chocolate cake. Hope this helped :)

Hey... protip... to get the parchment paper to mold to your bowl better. Crumble it up and get it wet under water. It will dry really quick in the oven but you can mold it to your pan way easier. My mom owned a bakery up until retirement last year she showed me so many tricks for pastries.
