NO CONTROL [ Full Animation ] // Spongebob The Musical

-As I said, I'm always working on an animation; I saw the spongebob musical some time ago and I thought about doing something about it since this show has been one of my favourites when I was a child. I also wanted to practice animating movements so here it is the result. I have to say there's parts I don't like at all but I think it's important to look at the mistakes and learn from them ;o. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

-Also, because I started the animation a few months ago, the beginning is in a "different" artstyle and the movement is not as good as in the end, for example.

- What is happening in the video?

- Why did you animate them in human form instead of the original designs?
First of all, I don't know how to draw them in their original designs and animate them either. Because the musical is performed by actors and actresses in human form I decided to keep it like that.

- Are you going to make more animations like this?
Of course! I'm thinking of doing more songs of this musical or other musicals like Beetlejuice or Heathers.

- Who is the man with purple hair?
He's Perch Perkins brrr

- Why SpongeBob's eyes change colors?
They don't change colors, you see them brown because the volcano reflects in his eyes.

- How long did this take you?
I don't really remember, I think I did this in the free time I got in a month.

Fun fact: This song was David Bowie’s contribution to the musical. He didn’t have the time to write a song (I believe he was sick or unable to), so he offered some old ones off a concept album to use instead, and this was the one that was chosen.
