The IMF today cut India's economic growth forecast by 0.5 percentage points to 9 per cent for the current fiscal year, with its Chief Economist Gita Gopinath saying that the slight downgrade is mainly due to the impact of the spread of the Omicron variant.

Idk much what's happening in USA but here in India if you remember fuel prices were very high even when per barrel price in international market were decreasing so this fight of inflation with Modi govt is quite old... Other then this yes America was very badly effected last year with India too i belive there was recession in India even before this covid now lets see in UP first govt did nothing except few development projects and after that this pandemic came they got busy in that can you belive you are trying to start these things which you promised in 2017 now just before elections 🤪
