My favorite way to eat century egg is with tofu as a cold dish! I would rise silken tofu, cut it up into cubes and put it with some cut up century egg with some soy sauce, sugar, chill crisps/oil and someone green onion.

my mother would always make conge whenever I feel sick and anytime she did she would always include chicken, pi dan, which is 100 year egg in Chinese, and and greens. I would always feel so much better and watching you talk about this is so nostalgic. 😅

I've loved century egg since I was a toddler. Being raised in a mostly Chinese household meant more exposure to food like this especially at wedding receptions. I only went to most weddings for the food tbh

It's my favorite dish! The egg tastes creamy and buttery at the yolk and the outer part is quite gelatinous

I really love cold century egg with chilled tofu and the goddamn sauce. It goes pretty well with porridge/congee and add a little fried breadstick and a whole raw egg(it will cook in the hot porridge) and you get the best comfort food out there

It’s really delicious. I had this when I was living in China with congee and it’s just really blends with it. It have a distinctive taste but it’s really good. Definitely best with porridge.

I was really sad ppl mocked me for eating asian food such as century eggs and chicken feet cuz they think it's weird but you manage to make ppl understand that it's not weird and it's a part of a culture. I gotta thank you so much for this. ❤️

I remember my first time eating a century egg on it's own and it was by far the hardest thing i've ever had to stomach. I'm definitely up to try it again with an actual meal though 🤔
