I think this game is second only to Fnaf 1 at creating a good atmosphere. The Springtrap jumpscares suck but it also makes sense why he'd attack that way. He's not a robot making jerky, robotic movements. He's a human being and attacking like a human, so while the jumpscares don't really scare you as immediately, I think the implication is still scarier. This is an actual person attacking you because he's evil, not a robot attacking you because of some night mode thing.

I completely understand people not being a fan of it, but just having a game be a horror attraction set after all the murders that happened decades prior, and your only actual threat being the very guy that did those murders now stuck inside a suit is just incredible to me.

What I love about Springtrap is if it's 4am, and you can't get him away from the window and he makes it outside your door, you're screwed, all you can do is stare him down until the ventilation fails. That makes him one of the most dangerous characters in the entire series imo.

I also LOVE the render of him peeking into the office.

Honestly being there to see that 3's ending when it came out was really its own special thing. It really did feel like something was accomplished. The children's souls were laid to rest. And the music too made me cry at like 2 am lol.

I much prefer the fear of fnaf 3 to the other games. It's not the jumpscare that scares you, it's the constant dread of messing up and dying. It's also so much more balanced than a lot of other fnaf games. I honestly don't understand how people prefer fnaf 2 over 3 with all honesty

Well, the phantoms have cool jumpscare animations. (Even though they can’t end your night.)

Underrated, I think it's also a good entry point as it is not as scary and allows you to build up confidence for future, harder nights.

Spring Trap’s jumpscare is the best in the series.

Afton is a slow, methodical killer. A slow methodical killer who has his victim cornered and trapped would slowly approach the victim, enjoying the fear in their eyes and the terror they feel.

Spring trap’s slow jumpscare is that of a slow methodical killer. The animatronics jumpscare you, but springtrap’s makes him feel more human with how different it is.

It’s not the suit that kills us, it’s william, enjoying yet another kill

FNAF 3 in my opinion is underrated as heck. The aspect of your one true danger hunting you down as his minions trying to stun you is perfect. One single animatronic fits the aspect. I love how he also acts like a human, but his suit slows him down. It’s really because of Springtrap’s jumpscare, which is realistic for his character. A sadistic, cold-blooded killer. Don’t even get me started on the eerie music-thingy.

I think Springtrap should’ve worked more like Nightmare (Fredbear) in 4, being basically every animatronic at once

Underrated Definitely, The Mechanics are very Unique. Springtrap jumpscare sucks though !

I think is very underrated, I remember that it was to me the second scariest fnaf game and I enjoyed a lot playing the demo, I even got pretty scared at the first night because I couldn't find springtrap anywhere xd

Underrated by far the BEST part was finding out who Springtrap is which his and Circus Baby's reveal are my FAVORITE parts also love the ambience and Springtrap just gives off Chucky vibes the only downsides are
1 Trash jumpscare
2 No custom night
But with that all being aid 7/8

Fnaf 3 is 100% my favorite game in the series and I’ve never understood why most people don’t like it. I love the slower gameplay. It allows the dread to really settle in as you struggle to find springtrap on the cams. I also really like how you have to think critically about every action you make. And the story is one of the best in the series.

I agree with most of the video but the one thing about 3 that I dislike is the gameplay. I really enjoyed it until I decided to try playing aggressive nightmare expecting to express my skill at the game. By that point the quirky 1 in 7 chance goes from being scary to straight up preventing it from being anything but an RNG check. I guess the max mode is far beyond the scope of normal gameplay, but if it’s gonna be in the game and have a reward for being it I think more effort should have been put into making it enjoyable.

Overall, nice vid and I’m glad that someone else enjoys the positive aspects of this game.

I haven't watched the video yet, but I'm just going to say it's very underrated. I rarely find anyone who likes it, but the game is so good! The gameplay is different from other games and they require you to actually watch the camera. The story is one of the best, if not the best. Plus the jumpscare I think are great. They're not scary in the classic jumpscare sense, but they're incredibly ominous. Springtrap is a human hunting his prey. If he makes it into your office he's not just killing you. He walks up to you. Calm. Knowing he can do whatever he wants and you can't do a thing about it.

Sure, his jumpscares were probably not very good and the intention was supposed to make you scared.

I'd probably argue that his actual "jumpscares" are the little animations that happen at the corner of your eye. Like the ones where he runs across your office, peaks behind the doorway or when he stares at you at the window. Those were what I liked in FNaF 3.

I wished Scott leaned more on those kinds of small scares instead because in the 4th one, it just feels like he is over compensating for the lack of scariness for Springtrap's jumpscares in 3.

It's weird though, I thought people heavily disliked these contemporary, loud jumpscares and saw them as cheap devices?
