Allow remote connections to SQL Server Express : How to Video

Don't forget, it is CRITICAL the the SQL Browser Service is running, or no matter how you configure it, you won't be able to connect remotely! Also, the default port usually used for SQL is 1433, or 1434 for named instances. Hope this helps!
