A hole saw should be used differently: Drill part way like you did outside-to-inside, but then go inside the trailer and drill the other way inside-to-outside using the same pilot hole the drill but made (of course). It's the only way to assure you'll have a nice clean hole.

Scary stuff drilling into brand new camper, let us know how the ac works out. Considering a tusca in bed of truck and want to do one of those cheap portable house ac units but would need to vent and have a hole to let water out would do it a similar way
