It was the OpenGL/Vulkan Compat App in the update. Uninstalled it, then reset the AMD Adrenaline app and FPS went back to normal operation. I keep my AMD overly on without issue. (Z1 Non-Ex)

For me, I went to graphic driver properties and roll back to previous versions. It worked instantly.

I bought my ally just 2 days ago it is a wonderful device. But I cant limit watt, it uses 25-30 watt even I choose performance mode(15watt) or manual mode(I adjust it as 18 watt). Is there any additional settings to limit watt usage?

I updated everything and every game runs about 40 fps on low which is wild to me. I am gonna make sure graphic card is on amd try killing amd software

Yeah man a couple of weeks ago for some damn reason the codmw3 hit 120fps it was great. Next day at lunch i updated it and now it say im doing 60fps and above in codmw3 but game plays at 20fps. Crazy.

dude!!! I was so frustated I could not play dota2, even on the lowest setting the things was max 40-45 fps, killing amd software fixed it for me, it normally runs 80fps maxed. It was so strange...

Uninstall win11 and install win10.
For sound problem, install all drivers, reboot windows, uninstall realtek audio drivers via hardware manager, reinstall audio drivers and all Works again

If you get lag for all of your games and even the device itself, then just factory reset adrenalin, easy.

ive been thrilled with the RoG ally for 4 weeks. And this last week I went to show my friend at work F1 23 usually get around 90fps, lol it was around 25, stuttering and then crashed 😂 wtf
Bought The outer Wilds and got 15fps and 30fps with rsr on. People say AMD drivers are good now and the notion they have bad drivers is a myth.
...im not sure about that! I think they are trash. And so is the clunky adrenaline software.

Oh BS, you ddont even need the AMD software, just install the driver without the software and your good to go. There is nothiing special about the drivers, standard AMD drivers work just fine.

for most people the fix is reseting things within the adrenaline app.
(fix for games suddenly slowing down)

if youve done that and have other issues let me know.
for me personally i lost windows defender entirely and the command center always read my gpu as 0 on the real time monitor. what i did was go to system recovery and selected fix problems using windows update. kept my files but reinstalled the update. if you go this route keep in mind you keep your files but this will require you to redownload several updates. make sure you hsve 15gb of space and to removed the sd card if you have one during this process(for me it stopped it from rebooting until i removed it)
taking the route helped me dodge the first issue people were having with performance

windows defender fix required me to install the security health program and it wrote over the windows defender. now it works like it should as well. been smooth sailing since.
