Looking at British Airways new first class suite, I love the use of the lamp.

A lamp helps to create a much more soothing and relaxed atmosphere. I personally find them less intrusive.

I suppose it's fashionable to criticise BA, probably by people who don't actually fly with them!
I fly with BA a lot and I find 99% of their staff very friendly and helpful. I mostly fly out of Gatwick these days and it's the BA staff that rescue the experience given the tired state of the fleet!
All the 777s have the old business class but BA still charges top pricing for it! I can't see BA updating those ancient 777s so maybe Gatwick will get some of the 10 yr old Heathrow fleet as those are replaced with new aircraft?

Had less legroom on a BA longhaul than on a Norwegian European flight. Sums up just how bad things have gotten at British Airways and as a result I am unlikely to fly longhaul with them again.

I flew with BA under a Qatar code in March. The plane was clapped out as there was ice on the inside of my window. The attendants looked stressed

I've flown BA just once. As below, the service was great and the Attendants were nice and cute as well! Even the food was good!

I would be happier if they kept to the timetables as published. I buy a seat on a certain flight months in advance and do NOT appreciate being told with 2 months to go my flight is cancelled. The offer of full refund simply does not work that close in when you have a busy diary.

Westjet... Call customer service (no matter what time of day or week) "Due to the high level of calls threre is a delay in answering" 90 plus minutes ion hold is considered "normal"! Cstomer service is NOT in Wetjets' mantra.

As a retired pilot all I can saw to the description of the highly overpriced seats is what a lot of BS. The other comments from your followers regarding good cabin service and food has a much higher priority than insanely over priced immensities

Wouldn't say they are my fav a/l..its not trust they need back its treating customers properly even if they are in economy. Flew back from Vancouver a while back now but the hostesses were really arrogant & rude, put me off for a long time. Staff on a subsidiary carrier this year were much more polite & courteous.

Indeed ... First Class Upgrade hardly an enticement to return to BA. The Astro amount of $$$ being spent on a chair and “ meeting modern traveler needs????” would be better spent on making meals edible and keeping their aircraft cleaner...😮
