Thank you! Can’t tell you how many times I cleared the references by Find and Replace….then missing one or two or mucking up my formula.

The "Edit Links" button makes it work. Or you can just copy "back" the Master sheet (in this case). Another way is select all and paste, but it doesn't always paste the right format.

Another uber fast way to copy a sheet: have both files visible on your desktop - hover mouse over tab - hold down the mouse button select 'Ctrl' - you'll see the '+' symbol - then drag that sheet to the new file and it copies the whole sheet

This seems somewhat longer than just copying the link from the formula bar, going to Find + Replace (CTRL+H) and simply pasting it into the replace box, leaving the second one blank?

I’ll try this… what I normally do is use “Find & Replace”

I understand what you shared. However, if you would like the same sheets and content in a 2nd file, it's easier to just make a copy of the 1st file and drag it to the new destination.

Hey Leila, any tips for ensuring columns stay intact when copying from e.g. a PDF to Excel?
It's a right pain when the text ends up going down the page instead of across!

In o365 excel where edit link option is changed to workbook links, how to break multiple file links when i have more than 10 files linked and i want to break link for all 9 except one to be retained?

Copy the file reference,
find and replace
Find: file reference
replace with: nothing.
Done!

Find and replace is my friend
