Lots of neat ideas. I have 5 children also all out of the house now. Big party’s were rare but we as a family always sat around the table and I had made a cake not fancy but we put in candles of however old they were and sang happy birthday. Gave a gift and the others often made cards it wasn’t much but as you said it made them feel special.

Wonderful ideas to make someone feel special, just wish they made compostable balloons. 500 balloons going into the landfill annually is a lot, especially if one multiplies that by every viewer who decides to take up the balloon idea.
