As a traditional Catholic, most traditional Catholics take a stance similar to St Paul when he recognized the authority of St Peter but resisted his erroneous teaching. This Pope has said many heretical things which we cannot be bound to follow because they are in error. Sadly, as fallen humans we are prone to errors. This Pope cannot seem to promote the teachings of the church, which have remained constant for 2 thousand years, over his own personal, political ideologies.
