Group Managed Service Accounts in Server 2022.
Hi. Welcome back to ShotokuTech. It has been several years since I made this video about group managed service accounts in Windows Server 2016. I'm getting ready to install Entra ID Connect to sync my AD users to Office 365 and Azure. And I want to run a separate SQL server for it.
Today we're going to look at group managed service accounts in Server 2022. This feature was introduced in Windows Server 2012 and it is still a current feature for Windows Server 2022. It really makes the management of service accounts simpler and more secure.

Yea I wasnt sure what Id use this for - just not my area nor similar to your other posts. I was wondering if you were going to use it with your LaRa IOT devices to host a distributed database over your servers and have them backed up in the cloud. Seems filled with typical Microsoft hoops to jump through. Congrats on navigating them 😀

If I have MSAs/gMSAs already do I need to run add-kdsrootkey again in order to create another gMSA/MSA?
