China is conducting a mega air show In the southern city of Zhuhai. A lot of aircraft, drones and naval equipment are on display. But the show has two top attractions. One is a stealth fighter jet - called the J-35A. It's being billed as Beijing's answer to America's F-35. The second top attraction is not even Chinese. It's a Russian SU-57 jet which is on display at this year's air show. But what is a Russian jet doing here? And what does China hope to achieve with this display of military might? I find the comment section very funny. In the 90s, we all laughed at Chinese phones, today they are top notch. 2000s, I saw people laugh at drones, today they dominate the market, from gadgets, camera gear, household equipment, EVs. Laugh at the J35 at your expense. Nothing is more satisfying to me than seeing another country stand up to the U.S. tech for tech, and better still, at more affordable prices. We need to see a balance of economic power across the world. Can't wait for BRICS to garner more strength and synergy to weaken the dollar. I like the U.S, but its about time its loud-mouthed citizens know that the whole world have been directly or indirectly subsidizing their loud-mouthedness for far too long. Maybe, just maybe, some countries might learn the true meaning of appreciation and mutual respect.
