House committee defers OVP budget hearing | GMA Integrated News

After almost six hours when Vice President Sara Duterte didn't answer most of the questions from the lawmakers, Zambales Rep. Jefferson Khongun motions to defer the House appropriations committee deliberations on the budget of the Office of the Vice President, which was agreed unanimously. The deliberations will resume on September 10.

The lawmakers should uphold the integrity of and respect for the Congress as an INSTITUTION (not of men). By the weakness or strength of its members the greatness or the lowliness of CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES SHALL BE!

Congressmen should study and use its powers. This calls for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.

I suggest Congress should give her the lowest reasonable budget. Since, she is just a person in waiting. She should have only enough budget to wait.

This just shows their disrespect for our laws, and authority of the government. If they do not respect our Congressmen & police officers (quiboloy case)... How much more kung mahirap o isang hamak na Pilipino ang kausap.
