Airplane is one of the few comedies I have seen in my lifetime where I can't go through a single scene without laughing hysterically. It never ever stops. From beginning to end it's absolutely hilarious.

Even if you hate the Bee Gees, this song is just too infectious - it's impossible not start dancing to it. It's perfectly suited to a right-laugh sequence like this.

I love the guy who gets stabbed in the back and Elaine thinks it's a dance move.  Friends and I used to joke about that when we were at the dance clubs.

I just now noticed, that they sped up the song significantly in the movie. It sounds like it's running about 10% faster than normal.

Elaine's dance partner getting randomly backstabbed followed by his flailing getting mistaken for dance moves is one of my favourite bits.
