My co-worker has been married 43 years and they sleep in separate beds for this very reason. She’s in her 60’s and “love making” is not an issue AT ALL!!! Do what works for YOUR marriage!

My husband and I sleep in different rooms. He has insomnia and stays up nights on end and then he ends up keeping me up so it was the best thing to do. We've been together for 7 years now and we're still an active couple.

My husband cannot keep the master bathroom clean ever. After tirelessly cleaning it all the time. I decided we just need different bathrooms. Also, i like to walk around the room naked and he is always wanting to walk in and out all day.. another thing is, i already take up 80 percent of the room with things that i think are eye pleasing while he wants his big t.v. in the room. Which i like hulu and netflix.. but i feel like it ruins the peacefulness and aura of a room. In about nine months. We will have our own rooms and restrooms. I actually think this will make it way more exciting romantically because he doesnt need to see me naked all the time and when we go on dates, he doesnt need to see the progress, he can just see the end result. If we want to get intimate, then he can visit my room and vice versa. I read somewhere that the most successful couples sleep in separate rooms.

My mom and dad sleep in different bedrooms because my dad can’t handle how soft my moms bed is, it hurts his back way too much

Hey it works for them. They love each other and stay faithful. I see nothing wrong with it.

I have insomnia, but the time I spend awake while my wife is sleeping is still more enjoyable beside her. Just had to learn to be quite enough to let her sleep..

I know a few people who do this, I have trouble with it myself. I'm very sensitive to any movement or noise at night. Also no matter how much space I start with, I always seem to be getting pushed off the side of the bed by her arse by morning.

Honestly this makes sense. I’m ready to do this cause if I can’t sleep I get cranky!

I wonder, if a couple do this at home, how would they do when they go on vacations? Do they rent two hotel rooms?
