Thanks for the info Jay. Would something similar apply to other Portugal residency options as well e.g. going the D2 - D7 visa route?

Glad you are putting these videos out as there are several agencies trying to sell Portugal GV as a quick 5 year scheme to citizenship.
Love the content on your channel Jay. Look forward to more!

2-3 yr to get first GV card + 5 years residency req + 1-2 yr Citizenship = 8-10 years for Citizenship (assuming Portugal govt. doesn't change laws along the way)

Seems pretty comparable to Cyprus RBI, if one doesn't care so much about Schengen.

Would the same apply for D7 visa?
Can we get citizenship in 5 years through d7 visa?

8 is too optimistic. I would say 10 is more realistic

realistically 9-10 years 😁
just permission for temp residence card+ 5 years take 7.5 years

so you seem to lead people thinking ONLY Portuguese program has this problem, right?

getting documents ready, waiting for processing is common practice. that's common sense OK?

Honestly, I think it is just better to live in Latin America. Better weather, incredibly beautiful women, close to Northern America and carribean, first world type as well as middle world cost of living, many choices, freedom and common Spanish language. Much better move. And once you have made it, Miami becomes your in and out buffer in between both worlds.
Latin America is a better choice. Europe is cold and can be quite depressive
