When practicing with a turniquet rember that if you have turned the stick so it starts tightening it is used and cannot be used for emergencies. So have one to train and one for emergencies.
Edit:Somethings i should have added is that the reason for this is that the textile band on the inside gets so stretched out after a singel use that if you use it once more it may snap and if you have an medical emergcy and this happens then you are with high likely hood to die if there are not any other people that have one. Also i recommend that you only carry the non training tourniquet to the range as it will save you time and in that situation time is criticall for survival.
