Having a squirrel problem here in Florida. Got a couple of those traps from SouthEastern Outdoor Supplies. Took some time to figure out how to set them with my old hands but finally figured it out and then set them on the tree just like you did and bingo, got 3 the first day. They have been chewing up car wiring and gas lines around here to the tune of 3600 dollars. Not no more. Thanks for the great instructive video. It was well done. Nice ! One got up under my gutter and started a nest. They can chew wood, aluminum, and plastic. I have those traps. Now I see how to set it. I have my marshmallows from a smore weekend . Hope they like them. We will see. Thanks again. You Da Man !

Thanks for the video! Last year I used a havahart to trap and release about 20 squirrels!! They are already back not even 8 months later. So I’m going to try Conibear traps to pick them off one by one. It’s almost/the start of breeding season, and the squirrels are all running around with not a care in the world, so it’s a good time to start trapping!

squirrels are evil. They digged through my wall and made a mess in the closet. After we fixed that hole, they are digging toward another room right now. I wish I had that trap...When I first moved in my house, I saw those fat dark grey squirrels in the yard and I thought they are cute...not any more

Squirrels are a fucking destructive nuisance. Most of the time I catch them using sunflower seeds on a small dish set inside a Hav-A-Hart trap and then I take them to be released at a distant golf course. Sometimes, I shoot them with my old Winchester Model 63 .22 cal (1933 model) I prefer catch and release, but it doesn't always work out that way.
