Toyota GR86 is the Best Budget Sportscar! Worth Buying?

👋 So you are in the market for a sportscar and you have no idea where to start or what you are looking for! Consider the all new 2023 Toyota GR86! This is a perfect platform to get into because it's affordable, brand new, you can get a manual, it's practical and one of the best driving cars available! The base model of the GR86 starts at $28K which is crazy to see for a sportscar, and while it's not a fast car, it will put a smile on your face and it's a car that you can easily mod! When you compare this to other sportscars available, it's certainly a bargain! When you look at it vs more expensive cars like it's bigger brother the Toyota Supra it's what you would expect for half the cost. It's a great beginner type of sportscar as well because it won't get you into trouble as far as speed and it's even great as a first manual car too! There is so much potential for this vehicle and for the price, it's hard to argue with what's available for this Toyota GR86!
The one thing I would like to see is another increase in power from the factory! Just more torque to help it accelerate out of turns quicker, but aside from that, it's a perfect sportscar for the price!

Just an E85 kit would add enough entertainment. I'd seen some adjustable control arms on AHC Garage and that looked really good.

Love the 86 and would take it over the MX5 personally, BUT, worried about longevity of the engine. I prefer the steering directness and front rear balance/breakaway characteristics of the 86 over the MX5

I’m finna throw in the towel on and get an suv. The roads are too shitty, too much traffic with people not paying attention or caring, people pulling out in front of you then going slow etc. All these cars are 50k+ and used isn’t any better. It’s like the point of these cars is starting to wither away for me.
