many thanks for the lecture. we all the time need to know how the factors are calculated from the variables. but how come the factors and their loading can be calculated given that the only given data is the variables?

1. Can you resample the data if you can’t use other data? although im not sure about this one
2. Can you do CFA straight after EFA? and then can you do multiple regression on the outcome?
