Steven Furtick's church called "Elevation Church" is under fire from many who see their advertising for the celebration of Jesus' resurrection as akin to blasphemy or at the very least deceptive in not wanting people to realize that Jesus' resurrection is what is being celebrated on what others call Easter. We take a look at the history of Steven Furtick and show why he's still unqualified and dangerous.

My stepson and his father were attending Furticks church until I showed them videos from you guys and from Vodie Bachmann. They have since left. His dad said he couldn’t remember Furtick mentioning sin more than a couple of times in the 3 years they attended. Thanks for your ministry as always.

Please I’m Asking for prayer because my 2 adult children, my son soon to be 44 yrs. old and my 42 yr. old daughter along with a 26 granddaughter who is living in fornication and my youngest granddaughter is now 12 but does talk about Jesus. Both adult children are divorced with different spouses and lost. I know God has His timing.

It’s how I think God sees me that determines where I end up.” The trans, homosexual, liar and adulterer can “think how God sees them” all day long and believe they are still saved…but they aren’t. The only way God “sees” you is by giving your life to Jesus Christ and turning and repenting from the sin bondage you are in and living for Him alone. Furticks church is blatant and disrespectful lies against God and His Spirit.

For anyone who thinks we are not to call out or warn people of false teachers

As Christians, we are commanded against following teachers blindly but are told rather to “test everything; hold on to the good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). The Apostle Peter warns us in 2 Peter 2:1-3 that there will be false teachers in our day just as there were false teachers in his day. Among their false teachings is a denial of the sufficiency of the sacrifice of Christ on the cross to take away sin, which is a common theme among cultists today. Another characteristic of false teachers is the greed which motivates them in everything they do. Paul offers a similar warning to the Ephesian elders in Acts 20:29-31, calling the false teachers “savage wolves” who mercilessly attempt to destroy the faith of the sheep and draw them away from the Shepherd. Paul warned the church continually, pleading with them night and day to be on their guard against such deceivers.
