The Heroes and Red Country are the 🐐s of this series to me. The Trilogy was just kind of a warmup for me for how great the series becomes later!

The audiobook is amazing! The narrator is an actor who does an amazing job. He was the voice of the sorting hat in the Harry potter books.😂

For anyone questioning whether to commit. This book series saved my life, there is literally NOTHING like it. It's also getting a movie adaptation in the following years and likely will have more to come so get in there early so you can join me in the cinema to sob my eyes out

For me glockta is even more humorous because for some reason I imagine lord Farquad from shrek but with all the things done too him and his inner monologue.

I just started these books! They were recommended, as I had just finished the Gunslinger series and wanted something similar.
Glokta is a smart butt sometimes. In the beginning I kept hoping someone would kill him. But the more I listened, I realized he had been through Hell. How does someone who was tortured brutally for years- turn into a torturer?
