How to make a Witches Bottle to protect from hexes and curses #witchcraft #witch #folkmagic #spells
Показать описание
A Witches’ bottle is an apotropaic folk charm to ward against witches, at least traditionally speaking. They have been found in Europe such as England and even in the US. It was also thought that they were boiled which would cause the witch intense pain leading to their discovery.
The way they work is by imitating you. By using *that* yellow liquid, or a taglock, it resembles you by using your essence, confusing whatever spell or ill intend may be sent your way. It then “catches” the spell.
Historically they were often found buried under the fireplace or any other place of ones property and were left to be undisturbed. Now if you cannot do this, bury it in soil in a plant pot, or hide it very well in your space.
If you use the traditional yellow bodily fluid you can add as many nasty things as you want. Add extra properties such as mirrors to reflect the ill intend back to the sender, or add sharp things to cut up the ill intend. Now a days we don’t tend to boil the bottle but you can if you want.
NEVER mix vinegar with iron, it creates a chemical reaction which will eventually lead to the bottle exploding! In other folk charms that use vinegar it is advised to “burp” the item, however seeing as a witch bottle is meant to be undisturbed I do not recommend this. If you want to use vinegar, make sure to exclude anything containing iron.
