Not video related, I just wanted to say that the asparagus crowns and strawberry bare roots along with the seeds that I purchased from you this season have all been a 100% success. First time purchasing from your store and plan to make all my future purchases with you. Thanks for all you do. I have never had results like this before.

How close together specifically did you plant the broccoli, cabbage, and potatoes please?

Hi Luke, I visited the MIgardener store and greenhouse this past weekend. Your gardens are much more vivid in person. I couldn't resist picking up more seeds and a t-shirt, which I love.

Great tips! I'm gardening in Las Vegas, so delicate things like lettuce CAN grow here, it's just a challenge. I also noted that proper spacing and bark mulch work well because the bark helps hold in moisture. Also, planting smaller, faster-growing things around larger, slower, deeper-rooted things helps protect the larger plant as it develops. Example: I planted shorter alyssum and marigolds in front of things like morning glories to protect the morning glory seedling as it develops, by keeping it from getting fried while it's young. I've used this method with other plants too. It works wonders in hot, dry climates and can totally transform your flowerbed! I have yet to use this method for food, though because anything other than peppers, herbs and squash can be challenging here!

I believe this is the same thing as French Intensive Gardening. Glad you're promoting it!

When you grow in containers, high intensity spacing comes naturally. I usually put two or three big vegetables in a same 30 to 40 cm diameter container and then fill the empty space with herbs and flowers. I love seeing lush vegetation instead of sparse growth. My inspiration for my glassed balcony is the jungle and I bring some of my tropical houseplants there too to enjoy the growing season! It's only good that tomatoes and peppers provide some partial shade for them...

I have 16 broccoli plants in a 4x4 space and they are doing great! I’ve harvest 3 heads so far and all the rest have heads forming just aren’t quite ready to harvest

Watching your videos for years I have started really tightening up the spacing in my beds. The last couple of years I say I can’t tighten things up more but then I do😝👨🏼‍🌾!

Interesting. Thank you. I saw a video a few years ago about planting a bush bean about every 4 ". As they grew the leaves shaded all.

I thought Having leaves so thick like that would decrease air circulation, which causes mold and mildew problems, yes? Please explain. Thanks!

Great video. I am constantly pushing the limits of high intensity cultivation. This year I have multi -sown pole beans and, yes corn with great success.

I finally have enough to grow to be able to do this! I'm excited to see how my garden beds look once the seedlings get larger! The ones in the flats are close together and look nice so far!
