One year ago, WCK teams in Ukraine were first to reach Irpin & Bucha after liberation

One year ago, José and WCK's Relief Team were first to arrive in the cities of Irpin and Bucha after their liberation. With support from restaurant partners and our committed Ukraine team, we continued to return for months with meals and food kits for families who had lived through unthinkable circumstances.

“It was the day we and the whole world saw the worst horrors we could ever imagine… but somehow at the same time I also saw hope. Hope from Ukrainians,” said José, reflecting on that moment.
