So Connes is pointing out that the noncommutative phase is NOT just at the small scale of the quantum but also holds on the cosmic scale and explains the creation of gravity itself. Nonwestern meditation is based on the same truth as Eddie Oshins realized: The noncommutative phase is what explains the secret energy of Neigong as alchemy as complementary opposites. Oshins uses the example of the outside of the hand as yang and the lower body is yin and the upper body is yang and the inside of the hand is yin. So when we do the 720 degree spin of the Electron as the hidden noncommtutative value of the "1" at a zero point in space - this is the complementary opposites of the future and past of time-frequency itself.

So then in noncommutative time-frequency the spatial spin is from discrete nonlocal numbers as matrices. So these matrices are the hidden noncommutative phase within the square roots of the imaginary number.
As Kauffman points out then the "primordial time" is the actual measuring process of the math so that a quantum algebra is inherently noncommutative with the noncommutative time-frequency in each "direction" at each zero point in space (the future and past overlapping).
This means by "turning the light around" - instead of a symmetric relativistic time clock of light as a "click" or "unit" - there is a hidden "hypertube" of light so that the frequency and time are inverted. Since matter is made up of light therefore light has a hidden gravitational mass that is not equal to the zero rest mass as inertial mass. So there is a hidden negative frequency and reverse time energy of light due to the noncommutative time-frequency phase that creates space at each zero point in space.
These discrete chordal "points" are then converted to a square root distance as a 4D mathematics of quaternions.
But the natural overtone series does not ALLOW a Perfect Fourth as 4/3 since the denominator is not a harmonic of the ONE as the starting note that is being listened to. This paradox is well accepted in Nonwestern music as traditional music of China or India. The WEST covered up this truth in order to create Western symmetric math with the Pythagorean theorem! Only now is Noncommutative phase math rediscovering this ancient truth.
So then even relativity arises out of the noncommutative time-frequency.
In quantum mechanics this is called the "measuring problem" since a measuring can go backwards in time such that the "collapse" of the wavefunction can actually reverse the time-frequency energy as the 5th dimension. This is demonstrated in the "reversed EPR paradox" now called the Delayed Eraser Paradox.
Simon Willerton claims you can go DOWN from E to B and that it's a Perfect Fourth. This is true on a "spatial" definition of geometry but it is NOT true from a listening perspective where by E to B is a Perfect Fifth! If you "flip" the Lyre around - even though the string differences are a Perfect Fourth then it does not actually change the frequency value of the strings!
