That bar pie had so many good looking qualities - crispy/no flop, good undercarriage, seemingly the right amount of non-greasy cheese and sauce while being small & very portable. That’s a pizza I wouldn’t mind walking around the city and exploring with as I munched each slice.

The best "Bar Pie" I ever had was at the 2/72 Armor Battalion NCO Club, Camp Casey, Korea 1978/79. They looked just like that one! I would eat one every chance I got! The club was walking distance from my barracks. It cost $1.25 back then.

I lived in MA for 4 years and this is like most of the local pizza places I personally experienced, I was maybe 25 mins away from this area. It's a style of pizza that I haven't seen many other places throughout the country. If done well, it's great, if not it feels and tastes fake sort of. Again, my personal experiences.

8 would be great in an 1-10 system, Dave doesn't seem to realise he actually scores on a 1-100 scale though and 8.1 doesn't fit with the amount of praise he was throwing at that pie 😂
