I grew up with a blackberry vine outside my house. My great grandma had transferred a few there before I was born (she died in the 80s and I wasn't even though of for another 2 decades) and I remember waking up almost every day in summer and making something from a few of those berries. Smoothie one day, desserts the next. That type of thing. I hated when they weren't in season because all the vines did was spread thorns otherwise. I wish I could try that mead. It would taste like childhood to me.

Got your mead book and its fermentation is going strong! Like ive brewed tons of beer before and ive never had one go this quickly and effectively. Cant wait to bottle it cheers!

Try brewing a Pomegranate Lemon mead, also try juniper berry and hops. I loved these 2 after brewing them. I currently have a batch of peach mead going that used Raspberry Honey.

Tip, get a siphon with a tap, then you don’t need to restart it, can you close your tap and carry on to the next bottle.

See I wanna make a mead that’ll make you go blind. I love honey mead but I feel like it can have a higher content than wine if done right.
