My oh My! Your greenhouse is filled with treasures! They are all so nice! I especially enjoyed seeing your brig. I had one of these and it never flowered so I gave it to someone and it bloomed for him! So he gave it back and it was full of buds but they all fell off as it went into the greenhouse for the anyway I enjoyed this tour! Iam going to get some of those veltheimia! Thanks!

great collection Rachel. "Thanks" to global warming I've stopped lifting dahlias and gladioli here in South England few years back. Instead I mulch them with a thick layer of manure and they come back stronger every year.

You should try the adenium or desert rose from seed which you can buy on ebay to come from China or Japan. Very cheap to ship and a big seed so you can see it germinate for the science experiment of it. Try the wet baggie method. The plant is quite ugly to look at until it flowers with its bulbous body and roundy leaves. But like your exotics there's the story of where it lives in its native habitat more prized for its rarity in your wet somber light.
