I am also in zone 9B ( bay area, ca ) and have always been wondering if a greenhouse makes sense for summer vegetable growing. The summer gets quite hot here and it will be much hotter inside the greenhouse . Will that not impede the plant growth ?
Moreover, will a greenhouse in bay area weather will have any advantage over growing out in the open during summer ?
Your advise will be sincerely appreciated and may push me to take a decision as I am putting this off for last several years.
