Don’t agree with Fuentes on a lot, but on this point I feel like whenever a liberal person defends modernity, they tend to focus on technological progress. Yes, having anastesia and modern medical equipment is good, but I think when it comes to this argument people are talking about social traditions. The technological advances are obviously great, but socially people are increasingly isolated and unhappy partly because traditions have been abandoned.

Traditional people vs unconventional People... There's nothing wrong between the 2. Just need a BALANCE. Even within personality, there's always going to be people who fight because they don't want to understand.

Traditional people usually go with what's has been proven with time and also go with fact, in the present and the past mentality, so let's stick with that.
Unconventional people go with the flow kind of, and future based mentality, if there's a problem they didn't just use solutions that have been used in the past, they're usually open to new solutions to new problem that arise, kind of like creativity can't be put in a box kind of people.
Not saying anything about the politics, just people based. There's no right or wrong here. People comes in many different of personality that have many nuances to them.

One of these days we'll realize that a healthy society has two parts to be successful: brand new concepts to push us forward and a grounded foundation for stabilization. Polarization in either direction is not ideal. Too many ideas too fast and you may lose your footing and spiral out of control. Too few ideas too slow and you begin to lose any hope towards a better world and begin to wither away.

This is why tying yourself to one party has always been a stupid idea. It's equally as silly to tie yourself to only using 'Odd' or 'Even' numbers in your life. You need both to function.
