'REPENT' - The MOST Misunderstood Word In The Bible?

So many don’t know this about the word repent!

People already generally think works save them, so let’s make sure how we present the gospel doesn’t sound like works, otherwise we’re just reinforcing their false idea.

I've been asking for repenting every some time ago throughout my weeks because I been making mistakes continuing doing sin,

And I learned that one thing is that there is no excuses of why you should continue doing sin, because you have to train yourself to become better and be closer to god,

In a way that you have to train your mind to the holy Spirit,

And it can be the same answer as repenting for not doing the sins anymore or not doing those acts anymore,

Because that's part of God's rules that I'm breaking, so I have to try my best to not do those sins because sinning will lead me nowhere except hell,

So that's why I repent so I can actually be in heaven with my family and relatives so I don't have to worry about pain, stress, ect

That's why I decided to try and I'm doing good so far because I am learning more, and I'm listening to the speaker preachers more often because the word of god is holy,

And especially thanking God for all the things he has done for us, and me

To be saved you can't just believe, you also need to have sorrow for sinning against God and you need to ask him for forgiveness.
If you don't have to ask him for forgiveness why does Romans 10:13 says that you need to call upon his name to be saved?

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world

Psalm 34:18 (KJV)
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Romans 10:9-13 (KJV)
9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Wrong repent word has a big meaning you only pick and choose you only tell half the truth it’s actually repent of your sins and foresake your sins and Jesus will help you with that

You are wrong. Read: "I have listened attentively, but they do not say what is right. None of them repent of their wickedness, saying, “What have I done?” Each pursues their own course like a horse charging into battle." Jeremiah 8:6 Repentance is doing, not just a change of mind resulting in a change of actions. I have plenty of more examples. I don't want to start an argument, I merely want to point out the other side of the coin.
