Star Fox has always been a single player experience for me, I never bothered with the multiplayer. SF64 is in my top 5 favorite games of all time, so I'll definitely give this a shot.

Hi HMK, I wanted to get some questions answered from you, since you unfortunately didn't reply. So I want to ask again, if you have the time to answer my questions, great.
1) What SF game is your favorite and why? (hope it's not N64)
2) Whose is your favorite character in the series? (Not counting Fox, Falco, and Wolf since they're already everyone's favorites)
3) What do you expect to have and or happen in the next game?

The delay happened because the game was going to be pick up and play style in which you select any stage and then play it for a high score and then you go back to stage selecting. Thats why the intro is on the menu, there werent routes or arcade mode, but testers complained about that thus the delay

We should've seen a REAL continuation from Star Fox Assault, since Assault had a ton of good features that would have been amazing to implement in a NEW Star Fox game (yes, ground combat is pretty good, throw away the change hate goggles please) I really don't like that they've retold SF64 since there was no need as SF64 was a retelling of SF (SNES)

From what I heard, the developers had a hard time polishing up the graphics up in this game due to the game requiring constantly move 60 fps on both the TV screens & the gamepad, with the gamepad on a different point of view screen,  which causes a major constraints on the Wii U's hardware itself. Personally, I think the game looks fine overall. Yeah I'll admit, there are a few times where the game does look pretty jarring at times,  the ones that pops into my head are the textures in Area 3 & the Zoness stage, & the rock formations in Corneria,  but other than that, I think the visuals are fine overall for a Wii U title.

Man this is why I fucks with HMK, this dude right here is a genuine Nintendo fan, he pulls no punches! He can see the flaws, and the mistakes Nintendo makes in what they do in general. And he calls them out on it because he wants them to do better. Sadly that cannot be said for the majority of the Nintendo fandom.

I completely agree about the visuals. It looks too clean like you're playing with toys. It needs some nitty gritty!

Great review, but as someone who played the original Star Fox 64, and the 3DS Remake, I feel it wouldn't be much of my efforts to replay a game I already know, let alone the new additions. If anyone didn't play Star Fox, I say pick it up, and I would really want to see that Star Fox Guard for anyone who wants to know. Honestly, Nintendo should start making a new Star Fox sequel that focuses on the events after the canonical ending of Star Fox Command.

A leader board would be nice tbf. Decent review. Amazing game if like you say you love your arcade stuff, if you are a Star Fox or motion controls fan its amazing and fun but the extra's are lacking. I loooove this personally though and had so much fun
