What should you expect with a low intervention birth? Join Lindsay Burgess, MSN, CNM, as she walks you through the benefits of a low intervention birth.
Some patients are intimidated by the idea of laying in a bed, hooked up to monitors for hours during their delivery. With a low intervention birth, the aura in the room is calming, comfortable, and personalized. You are welcome to move around and get into the jacuzzi tub, thanks to special waterproof electronic monitoring equipment. You may also have your family and a midwife present to provide you with support. If you prefer, you can choose to have a midwife facilitated birth with normal medication guidelines.
