Ive lived in the Phoenix area 55 years now and you are telling the truth. I want to add that even though our summers are mostly a dry heat our 100+ degree weather lasts 5 months. Lots of crime in the Phoenix area today too.

Can confirm the warm showers. The good part is you don't have to spend extra energy to heat up the water. Just put it all the way on cold and the water is warm enough to shower in.

I moved here when I was 8yrs old and 60 years later I'm still here and loving it. The only reason I would tell anyone not to move here is if they left a state where it's so bad they couldn't stand it anymore. But don't move here and turn our state into the crap hole that you left, that doesn't make sense at all you might as well just stay where you are if that's your intention. I would say don't move here at all, we have enough population as it is and we don't need nor want any more people moving here.

I appreciate how specific this video is! I’m planning to move to Phoenix and every video on YouTube only talks about the obvious (it’s hot). Well no shit lol. Great video, thanks for posting

Yes you are right about hot tap water during the summer months. Forget taking a cold shower. But i found a solution. I fill 6 gallons of milk jugs with that warm water, then I place them near the bathtub and the cold AC helps cool those jugs down dramatically. That's how I shower and water my plants

Love it here. I have 2 chips and a crack in my windshield now. I have good insurance coverage though. Longest most beautiful spring in America (yes, my opinion not a fact). This year May and June were beautiful. Two years ago fall showed up early and the heat ended in late September. Get a car wash membership to clean the dust off your car quickly. It costs 20-$30 a month.

After years of living on Aircraft Carriers, the sounds from Luke Air Force Base would be pure nostalgia for me. Fly Navy!

I am at my sisters right now in Glendale Arizona until Wednesday. I don't think I could do this full-time. I don't like the heat! And I know what you mean about the hot water it's very true.

Watched your video I live in Hudson, Iowa and I love it, very informative …I lived in Las Vegas for 32 years and helped build Phoenix and Tempe to what it is now. Just want to say your spot on of all you say, thank you. Can’t wait to move back to the desert 🌵 again. I will be looking for a good home deal 🔜

You might want to update your video to include 18 consecutive days of over 110 degrees and that fact that Phoenix was just declared uninhabitable without A/C

It's interesting that you say, everyone drives very very fast there, last time I was in Phoenix my first observation was how slow people drive on the freeways,

We have friends that have lived in Mesa for many years after having grown up in Western NY. They come back here and stay for all of July every year to escape the heat.

I love seeing people with guns in holsters when I’m out and about, I feel safer here knowing that if anyone tries anything stupid there will be dozens of armed citizens at the ready. Almost everyone I know here carries a weapon for their protection, especially women.
