I just did this to my 2002 F350 (7.3) with 560, 000kms and OMFG!!! Power restore!!! As soon as I got done waiting the 15 minute waiting period - I drove off my driveway and instantly noticed a difference. Fuel economy went up as well.

My tip: only use 1 can of seafoam for this 7.3 fuel filter housing. I tried adding a little bit of my 2nd can and it was too much (over spilled when reinstalling the fuel filter cap)

I will always use this method everytime I change my fuel filter. Amazing results!!!

Thank you Seafoam!!!

After several years of not looking at my fuel filter, my tractor pulled down and died while Bush hogging . I changed the fuel filter and got it home with an injector hammering. I followed your instructions and my tractor runs like new. My DTC 360 tractor and my truck will be regular Sea Foam users.

I just replaced the cylinder head gasket on my 1995 cummins. I was amazed how little carbon buildup there was on the head and upper cylinder with 283k miles. Always added about 1/4 can of seafoam to a tank fill of around 30gal. Good stuff. No snake oil here.

My injector balance rates were all over the place and way out of specifications on my LLY Duramax. Followed the video and now all the rates are within specifications. Best $30 I've spent in awhile.

I just followed this procedure on my 2006 6.0, it made a very noticeable improvement. My truck has 174000 miles, and this was the first time the injectors had been cleaned...short of a bottle of Sea Foam in the tank ever now and then. I was at the point of thinking probably new injectors in the near future.
So my question: Should I do this procedure a 2nd time now just to finished any needed cleaning, or just wait till my next fuel filter change??

Thanks! It woke my 2000 F350 with 256K up! There was a bit of hesitation and it cleaned it up! After the hot soak period, I drove it around and "raw hided" it a few times, after driving it 30 mins I got out and Im sold onto sea foam! I could still smell it slightly as it was running... ( outside at idle but not an unpleasant smell) I added it to the fuel and added a quart to the engine oil too ...I will drive it about another 3k and change the oil Thanks seafoam!

Seafoam works great for cleaning deposits and fuel stabilization. I run it in all my gasoline engines and they start reliably when needed. However it is a emulsifier (suspends water in the fuel) so if you have a diesel with the water separator drain, it might not be the best choice to run in the tank all the time.

I poured a cap full in my oil ran the car to operating temp and then changed my oil. It had the consistency of water when I drained it...

Replace with new oil minus the seafoam and a new filter. Engine probably hadn't felt that clean since new.

I put three cans on this stuff in my tank and one in my crankcase in my 2500HD with 240K miles. Honestly I'm surprised how much it helped. I gained power back, throttle response is better, ans actually gained 2MPG. From now on I'm using this stuff habitually every 10K miles or so.

I am looking for a technique to clean a diesel pump without removing it from a IH 1086. The pump is clogged with the green slime. Can you help?

I just followed these instructions exactly. Started up after adding foam in my filter. Truck started then died. Won't start now. Should have never messed with this stuff

My can of seafoam says internal gas engine use only do not use for diesel intake systems. Are you using a special sea foam for diesel?
