‘’The Siege and the Fall of Constantinople in 1453’’ This book is about conquest of Constantinople and massive repercussions that came with the fall of the Eastern Roman Empire, must read for every Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman enjoyer.

‘’SPQR: A history of Ancient Rome” Must have about Roman Empire, if you want to know how Rome had risen to power, this book is excellent for you. I reccomend it for every Roman enjoyer.
„The Gallic War” Absolute classic in my opinion, everything you need to know about the incredible conquest of Gallia by Julius Caesar.

He did what no other Roman Emperor , including Augustus or Trajan, or any head of state ( with the exception of FDR) has ever done . He actually cracked the inflation code!
Fiscally speaking, he may have been one of the greatest heads of state in human history.

The Palace of Domitian was so well built that it was intact enough to be used by the Byzantines 600 years later. It was also the scene where Heraclius got himself ceremoniously crowned emperor of the entire Empire.

I have no doubt that Domitian had good ideas with his upbringing and the legacy of his father and brother... But let's not forget that he raped his nieces, and even killed the sons of one of them... Also, he paid the Germans tribes to not invade Roman territory... Not very good Emperor in my book
