Testing Xiaomi Smoke Fire Alarm - Does it work at all?

Hi there. It has been bugging me for some time now that I do not know if I can trust the Xiaomi Honeywell Smoke Alarms to go off.

It is a smoke detector not a fire detector, also there are settings in their app for choosing the sensitive of the detector. It will be better if you can show yours to us.

Hello! Great video! I am setting up a smart home with Aqara hub and sensors in Homekit and is thinking about getting this smoke detectors. Can you trigger the smoke detectors from the Hub if it's alarming? To get more sirens if the alarm is triggerd. The other way around from your video where the smoke detector triggerd the alarm in the hub.

hello, just want to ask how long did their batteries last considering they are wifi-enabled? Also, CR123A batteries are not really common in my country but I can order some online.

Please do not use these Chinese “Smoke Detectors” they may not be UL listed or whatever other countries have and that is really not good. Unless you are exactly sure you are good with this, please just buy the right company smoke detector from in your country.
